How do Gaitor credits work?

Credits are how Gaitor measures usage for AI-powered features. Every time you send a prompt, the AI models process your request and consume credits based on the complexity of the task and the models involved.

Types of credits:

Credit Type

Description

Daily Refresh Credits

A fixed number of credits that refresh every 24 hours for all users. These reset daily — unused daily credits do not carry over to the next day.

Monthly Credits

A monthly allowance included with your plan. Higher-tier plans receive more monthly credits. These reset at the start of each billing cycle — unused monthly credits do not roll over.

Add-on Credits

Additional credits you can purchase on Pro and Business plans. These never expire as long as your subscription is active. Add-on credits are non-refundable.

Credit consumption order:

When you use Gaitor, credits are consumed in this order:

  1. Daily refresh credits are used first

  2. Monthly credits are used next

  3. Add-on credits are used last

This means your purchased credits are always preserved as long as you have daily or monthly credits available.
